Concentration

The Architecture Department at UPJ gives great autonomy to its lecturers, students, and academic staff to develop science based on their interests. The department also gives opportunity both for lecturers and students to focus on certain concentration.  It also provides opportunity to pursue further study.

This is reflected in the architecture department learning process, which enables students to choose between pursuing their careers as an architect and continuing their studies. If a student decides to become an architect, he or she may take a two-year business internship or a professional certificate program. Through internships in companies, graduates of the architecture department will be able to work with a certain concentration of interest. For instance, a graduate of the Architecture Department may work in architectural planning, urban design, landscaping or interior design agencies. By mastering various basic theories, students are able to adapt to business design requirements.

Other than going to the professional world, graduates can also opt to pursue their studies in the Master's degree program. This option is supported by a curriculum developed by the Department.
